Lol at thinking wash is going to take Young out of the three hole. If Texas lost josh for the season MY would be your 3 hole hitter in every playoff game. :L

Watching him hit 3rd is as bad as watching paint dry. Cant believe I sat thru thus entire game thinking we could come back and win. Now the Yankees are 1 game behind us

Michael Young has to be the most unclutch 16 million a year player I have ever seen.

Instead of my usual long description, I'll just leave my feedback about tonight at 3 words: pathetic, disgraceful, embarrassing. Oh and...

Kinsler, Young, Hamilton- when you 3 decide you want to be dependable productive members of this team again instead of living off of the past and your massive over-inflated egos, let us know. "I have ADD", "I'll throw a tantrum if I'm benched", and "I'm feeling a bit sniffly and dizzy" don't cut it. Elvis swings for singles instead of uppercut HR's, Murphy plays whenever and wherever he's asked and does so admirably, and Beltre begs to play hurt. Too bad our supposed 3 team leaders can't follow suit.

Beltre, Murphy, Harrison, Darvish, and Nathan deserve better.

Not sure why you're busting Josh's balls. He's not even playing right now cause he can't even walk a straight line.

Understatement of the year. I'd even rather have Chone Figgins and his contract at this point. At least he can still run fairly fast.

Yes. It's that bad.

It's just always something with Josh. I've had a relapse. I cheated on my wife. I'm having family problems. I'm having trouble quitting dipping. I can't see or hit well in day games. I have no discipline in my life. I have a mysterious sinus problem which is somehow worse than everyone else's sinus problems who manage to still go to work. The excuses for his absences and poor performances just add up and get old after a while. Some are truly legit reasons and maybe this sinus thing is that serious. But he's just so emotionally, mentally, and physically fragile. We need him now and yet he is (justifiably or unjustifiably) absent again. He's unreliable. That's why I am complaining about him.

I think a sinus problem that severly affects his vision and balance affects his work a little more than a sinus infection might infect ours. You know, that whole trying to judge fly balls and hit 95 mph fastballs thing that we couldn't possibly do completely healthy?

Also, I don't think there's ever been a confirmed cheating incident.

I said that this sinus thing could be legit. But again, legit or not, it's always something with Josh. Always. We need him now and he's out again. Unreliable.

And the cheating thing is widely known about. In case you don't consider a drunken night of him licking whipped cream off of strange womens' bodies and having them lick him cheating, there was the incident in Dallas where he went to the restroom with a young lady for quite a while and Kinsler had to come get him because he had too many. It wasn't just one drink at a restaurant.

Furthermore, as someone who struggled with major sinus problems for the first 20 years of my life, so much so that I had to have surgery, I can attest that while sinus problems can cause dizziness and fatigue, they do not last over a week to this degree (not to where you still can't see or judge depth). Either Josh is just being fragile or something worse involving his equilibrium is going on. Either way, it's just another incident in his long line of maladies.

You have to admit, with his history, he certainly isn't reliable.

What a joke Wash. If MY is the best hitter this team has without Hams in the lineup, then we don't deserve the playoffs. It's basic baseball Wash. Insert you're best hitter, bar none in the 3rd hole. MY is lower half at best. Wake up Wash!

I would rather have the 19 yr old Profar, who will at least provide some exictment.

There is no way we've been given the truth about this!

And one time at band camp he had this really bad paper cut, I mean it was worse than Juan Gonzalez's baggy pants..........

Will, Wash is as guilty as those you've mentioned for living in the past, and he is the HEAD MAN IN CHARGE allowing this to happen. Throw a lineup out there and play for a big inning! Will Wash ever figure out that what happened last year has no effect on this year?

MY must have absolutely no plan at the plate. Take strike one and then swing at two pieces if shit for strikes two and three.
