And then the Leaders and Legends woke up.
The one thing I'll say (Husker fans that may not be familiar, I'm talking to you) is that Jim Delany is not stupid when it comes to this expansion stuff. He's been commissioner since 1989, is responsible for adding both Penn State and Nebraska, and will run circles around Dan Beebe.
Now picking names for divisions, on the other hand, is not the man's strong suit...

Ducking Wisconsin? Really?
Take a look at your schedule over the past decade. Is every single other powerhouse ducking Wisconsin as well?
Wisconsin would play 12 games against pee-wee teams if it could get them to a bowl.

You do know that Barry Alvarez has been trying to get you guys on the schedule for years, and you guys keep having excuses? I didn't just make this shit up. Notre Dame will not play us....
Chickens.
Wisconsin wants a September game. Our september is for rivals, major programs, and long term opponents. Maybe stop being a coward and agree to an October game like Oklahoma did?

Not really.
Not a well known brand, no national following, no NCs.
Wisconsin is a good team, but not a good program.

Well that just explains USF to the t.![]()
Notre Dame hasn't been a good program since the 80s. Or wait..no..when was the last time you won a bowl game? Oh right, 1993. Who was the quarterback, Rick Mirer? I think he's retired now bro.
And see, the problem is, we play real teams in October. You know, ones that win bowl games now and then.
And see, Wisconsin people are spreading. We're moving to your states and taking over. In 20 years...our national following will be at least as big as all those other schools that beat you in your bowl games.
Maybe Wisconsin fans need to realize their team isn't that desirable, and when ND can get games with what ever team it wants, you might have to cave in and play later in the season, or we probably wont care about some small time hick program that's never won the big one?
