This is the problem with college football nowadays though. Since when is a 9-3 season a bad year? The fucking Bama effect has ruined it. Everybody can't make the playoffs every single year.

When he's had a good QB, Malzahn has been an outstanding play caller. I don't think he can develop QB's though. All his success has really been with somebody else's QB. I've yet to see him really recruit and develop one.
