Hold the hell on. Where was Kaepernick going to go there on that play? He had a guy coming in from the right which forced him to step up, Staley was knocked to the ground to Kaepernick's left, and up the middle Kaepernick was quickly hit for the sack. He had NOWHERE to go there. I don't want to hear about pocket presence on that play. MY GOODNESS!

I was thinking this too -- Kaepernick hasn't looked great, but he's the best qb on the field so far. Let's not start eating our own with a 21-3 lead.

:agree: Some of you guys are subscribing to that chicken little way of thinking

Watt is just physically superior to Anthony Davis and any of our OL (IMO). He is stronger and faster. Davis had engaged with him on that last run but Watt simply ran through his block attempt.

I don't think it would make a tremendous difference, but in all fairness Davis is injured and his status was questionable all week I believe. Hard enough to block that guy when you're 100%, damn near impossible when you have an injury.

The problem though is that as bad as kaepernick has been, McCoy would be even worse.

Oh, no! Ray McDonald was clutching his bicep there after that scrum. He didn't look like he wanted to use his arm at the end there. I hope it just had something to do with his sleeve but I fear not?

Yep. He's getting his right bicep looked at by the medical staff, according to Maiocco. Bicep injuries scare me just because I've seen athletes who have them and I've felt them myself. I just cringe when I see a player hurt his.

Baldwin made a great catch on a horrendous throw by Kaepernick.

Horrendous? It wasn't a bad throw. That was actually a pretty good throw. Baldwin was just to close to the sideline

Sheesh! That's two hits on Gore that didn't look good. I fear he'll go down and stay down every time I see ones like that.

See Tony Romo in the Dallas game today. he never gives up and he often gets away and makes a play. Kaepernick rolls up into a little ball and goes down.
