I'm not fully sure I understand this from the Texans standpoint. Do they have the worst OL in football without Tunsil?
Yes. That seemed likely before free agency but a move like this means he’s likely moving on. I don’t think this kid is a starter right away this season. I think he’s Stoutland’s next project. They got a “bust” that a shitty organization had and the hope is that Stout can coach him up like he did with Becton.Could this mean that Philly is losing Becton?
He’s a big guy at 324 which fits Stout. He played 5 different OL positions at A&M. This guy has swing player written all over him. I don’t think he’ll be a starter right away. I think he’s just there for Steen insurance and to push Steen so he isn’t handed something.Jeff Stoutland has his work cut out for him trying to rebuild Kenyon Green from the sounds of things. But then again, a year ago exactly no one cared about Mekhi Becton, who was considered a total bust.
Making the same mistakes they made with David Carr.Texans really said fuck CJ Stroud. I’m crying
And to think 2 Commanders fans on that board are arguing it was a bad trade for Washington. The internet never fails to surprise.OL protection was one of Washington's major issues last season. Great pick up for them.
I think it was the best of their moves so far this off season. I think all of the others made the team older without really getting a big change to the team dynamic. Tunsil was a big add though. And to think 2 Commanders fans on that board are arguing it was a bad trade for Washington. The internet never fails to surprise.
I would argue a motivated Deebo Samuels in a contract year changed the team's dynamics as well.I think it was the best of their moves so far this off season. I think all of the others made the team older without really getting a big change to the team dynamic. Tunsil was a big add though.
He might if he can stay healthy and if he has anything left in the tank. He really has only had that one great year. I think if you get 2021 Deebo and a playmaking back in the draft it could be scary hours with McLaurin and Daniels already in place. Not sure that Deebo exists anymore.I would argue a motivated Deebo Samuels in a contract year changed the team's dynamics as well.
I looked into this. A lot of it was he was unmotivated, got out of shape and missed games. This was a big reason for the Niners to make the move. But he is motivated now. And the "one good year" thing is deceiving, in the years he was hurt he put up big numbers in the games he played in quite often. He might if he can stay healthy and if he has anything left in the tank.
