The Texans have settled all claims and intended claims against the organization in relation to sexual misconduct allegations against former quarterback Deshaun Watson, it was announced Friday.

The Texans settled claims!? So no league punishment for supplying NDA's, an offsite room and the ability to have Watson "creep" on these women by doing so?

Wow, Goodell is really a lame duck.

No doubt there are issues with Goodell and with owners and the league. They could ignore it. However, the settlement is just between the women and the organization. Technically, there could still be punishment for the organization from the NFL. This does not settle between the league and Texans because Deshaun Watson also settled but he’s being investigated by the league. So the organization settling, could still have investigation by the league on whether they knew this was happening and let it happen longer, etc.

Yet no one will stop watching. Just like the butthurt over Kaepernick's protest people will soon forget or never cared in the first place.. Amazon or some other streaming outfit will make a super sweetheart deal with the NFL and the buckets of money will continue to pour in.
