I hated the bad calls and the leagues bullshit excuses for not using expedited review to pick up stupid flags but the whole conspiracy nonsense and the refs winning the game for the Chiefs grinds my gears to no end. It's easy to hate the Chiefs right now because of their success. Patriots evil empire was the same thing. But they are and were on this day the better team regardless. I don't have to like it as I would have loved to see the upset but I accept it as a reality.
Having said that, the PF review system needs to be cleaned up by the league because the refs are unable to see what is actually happening and throw flags out of fear because they hear a big collision or have a blind spot and the QB looks like he might get hurt. Protecting QBs is all well and good to a point but it's gotten way beyond that to a point where QBs can manipulate it. Credit some of them for having the smarts to do it but it is hurting the viewing experience for fans when we can see beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's wrong. And fwiw, that pussy move by Mahomes on the sideline trying to draw another one just after the second one is really annoying. Josh Allen flops a lot too so it isn't just Patrick but time to start putting in the unsportsmanlike if this is what they are going to do. Just imo mind you. I hate that BS.

Pretty much agree with all of this. Thing is imo both sides are gonna work the refs anyways, and I mean all the way to the coaching staff. And that's been going on since before replay review. Is what it is until they change the rules...

Yeah, I agree with that for sure which is why I hate the stupid conspiracy theory crap. Every team manipulates it because they know how to work the system. The roughing the passer calls is the biggest one that I hate because there are just so many of them that the ref throws flags from behind on because of a result and not the actual action. I've seen it go against the Chiefs as much as for them. Wasn't it that SB vs. Philly ( or maybe sometime in that play-off run) that Chris Jones got called for that idiotic full body weight thing when he clearly held himself up to avoid it? We all could see it was wrong within 3 fucking seconds. The league actually put in an allowance to correct that this season and still refuses to use it. Fuck the referee's ego or pride. Just get the shit right, ffs. As a business model, the league office and the owners have to know that the optics are bad, one would think. I don't know man. I'm just ranting at this point. Thanks. And definitely agree with you as far as the optics of it all goes. If we as fans can see it you'd think the people who run the league would at least have an inkling to. I think something will be done about it before too long...

As far as the game yesterday I give give credit to the Texans for giving us a bigger game than I thought they would. Better online and they'd definitely be in the mix for a title run next season. And I really like the kid Stroud. He's legit...
