By my count the refs gave the Chiefs 2 1st downs and the Texans 1.
What BS call Texans earn? Or was it legit unlike
Those 2 shit calls in favor of KC? Or the 3rd and short that was a clear first down by Houston and then just somehow ended up getting a false start on 3rd and 1 that turned to 3rd and 6. Can’t make this shit up

No they should make the correct calls. Just so happens they make sure to call something against opposing teams that isn’t correct. Sad but true
Never disagreed that refs shouldn't make incorrect calls. Guess what? Bad calls are made in more than just Chiefs games. So where's the outrage...?

Why watch the games then? Maybe the NFL isn’t for you anymore.

The rest of us here have welcomed our new zebra overlords.

We get by just fine discussing the game itself rather than harping on calls exclusively.

Texans had 4 excellent catches that game although one I think in most games would've been called incomplete.

And technically the BS call where Mahomes got the 2 Texans players to slam into each other was technically a penalty. There was contact to Mahomes, too, and they were headhunting but they just slammed into their own players. I think most people would've just called that karma and been done with it, though.

Mahomes, Allen, Brady. They all get the calls. I have seen Mahomes roughed up a lot without penalties in the past so this crew in particular sucked.

You've already made up your mind, though. I suggest not watching any more games.

It looked like the Texans were going to win, the way their D played, they really controlled the Chiefs. But the Chiefs D came on strong in the final minutes, and that was what won them the game.

The Mahomes flop was unnecessary, he’s better than that; the refs saw it and didn’t throw a flag, not that it would have made a big difference. Chiefs D won that game.

I think this is overlooked a lot, the metric of having a shitty officiating crew on any given day, but it’s not exclusive to any team since they rotate.

I'm not understanding the outrage here.

The UR penalty was called on a 1st and 10 play where Mahomes had already picked up 9 yards.

The UR penalty gave the Chiefs: +15 yards.
The two penalties called on the Chiefs on that drive: -14 yards.

Net gain from the refs on that drive: +1 yard.

Texans went 10/17 on third down during the game. The creates the vibe of a dominant team. The Texans skill players (QB, RB, WR, TE, CB) were dominant. The rest of the team sucked hard (OT, Kicker, S).

It's pretty easy, actually. Chiefs haters didn't get the results they wanted, so they blamed the refs...

Unfortunately that's way too common all across sports these days...

That last part is especially true. Anyway, congrats on the win and your ticket to conference game. Cheers!

Not everyone that roots for the other team is a hater or blames the refs, lol. Seeing fresh blood beat top teams is good for the game is where I stand. Anyway, congrats on the win. You guys are going to be tough to beat. Cheers!

Yeah, if I'm doing my math right their Kicker cost them 7 points? Thats pretty crazy in a playoff game. Kelce had his best game in over a year. Chiefs pass rush had their best game in recent memory.

It wiped out a lot of great plays the Texans made.

That, and the Chiefs got a couple of calls.

Holy shit what are we arguing about. We lost, as expected. Our offensive coordinator who has been exposed all year and a poor offensive line didn’t get it done. We are the Texans, this is what we do.

True, it was nothing short of amazing how Texans held the Chiefs to so few yards. I know they haven’t been lights out on O this year, but still. And Kelce always comes through when needed. He dominates getting open in those middle of field routes.

Your pass rush was scary yesterday, especially toward the end of game.

You guys had a great season, played very well except for a few well-documented mistakes. Your future looks bright with such a young team. And … butt chin is gone so you guys are set going forward.

A big part of that was the Texans controlling the ball almost the whole 3rd quarter. That, and I think the Chiefs saw what Herbert did and went 'nah, our WRs aren't good enough. F' that'

Also, the “Defense and running game are what wins in the post season” line seems to hold true. Pacheco got some tough yards toward the end.

Hunt got most of the tough yards IIRC. But yeah, KC went full conservative. Feels like its been that way all season

How many legit? Chiefs fans are only ones who don’t see the truth but, most likely blue voters too, that would explain a lot.
