Okay... we are only 11 wakeups before TEX pitchers and catchers report (that's only 5 underwear changes away for some).
Recognizing that ST is "meaningless" as far as record and performance goes as pitchers will work on pitches not necessarily based on the situation while facing a minor league hopeful ... but wonder who is going to surprise us the most with the top SP performance in camp?
In 2011 ST ... top SP was Feliz 1.93 in 14.0. Holland 3.21 in 14.0. Harrison 3.46 in 13.0. Lewis 4.00 in 9.0. CJ 4.50 in 14.0.
In 2010 ST ... top SP was Scooter with 2.94ERA in 15.1IP. CJ in his first SP ST had 3.24 in 25.0. Harrison 5.14 in 21.0. Lewis 5.31 in 18.2. Holland 5.69 in 12.2.
My prediction on the top ST SP performer ... Matt Harrison. (based on squat ... just have a feel).
Can't wait.
