Agree ... its just hard to game chat here... like the old ESPN board. BBTIA setup works better but whenever I go over there 80% of the post have zero to do with the game. I prefer the folks here ...

You've been the iron man here ... and carried too many games solo. Wouldn't mind if it wasn't this type format. Just hard to stay focused on the game and still keep hitting F5 to update the screen.

Plus ... when I do post here during games my wife gives me huge amount of grief. One advantage of west coast trips is she is long gone to bed before the 3rd inning.

Too bad Scotty know Romeo enjoys the company ... working from home office so I get to post days ... but posting during games takes away from the game for me. It's not like hanging out in a bar with friends to watch the game or have others over. Too mechanical.

Yea ... that's why I usually get on here after the game to kibitz. In game chat with this construct is too hard and takes away from the game. Plus my wife goes crazy when I do that.

Mike Napoli is the worst player in MLB. We'd be better off with, well, anyone. I hope the Rangers don't re-sign him. I was completely wrong about him. He is an awful terrible player.

And today was the worst loss of the season. Doesn't bode well going into Anaheim.

Three chances to single home a lead off double by Cruz and Napoli, Gentry, and Kinsler all fail. They deserved to lose this one. Nice of the rusty Ogando to cough up the lead too. And once again a minor league hitter hits his first HR against us and beats us.

I can live with the occasional blown lead or loss by the bullpen because those are bound to happen to every team. But the hitting has to be better. Adrian Beltre can't carry the load by himself every game. Hamilton has been for the most part an embarrassing joke lately. Young, despite the recent hot streak, is still no threat. Cruz and Kinsler are inconsistent, and Napoli is still just totally lost. Take away that ridiculously hot first month and the Rangers are statistically a middle of the pack offense. Meanwhile the Angels are putting up 6+ runs almost every night and getting multi-hit efforts from their 1-5 hitters. Slumps don't last for over 2 months and it's well past time for our "star" hitters to start showing up on a more consistent basis.
