Let him ride his walker into retirement.

just had 1000 and almost double digit TDs in less then a full season last year, he isnt going anywhere, for how great of shape hes in and how hard he works out and hes still faster then most DBs, he will be play again, no doubt

We have a good core of WRs when healthy.... maybe Ziegs back for abit if Morgan is to take it easy for a bit?

I thought it was just before FA started?

It was just before the draft.

Terrell Owens focusing on acting while knee heals - ESPN

Owens, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament and had surgery in early April, filmed an episode of the USA sitcom "Necessary Roughness" on Wednesday at the Georgia Dome. He said his knee is a couple months away from being completely healed and though no team has contacted him, he still expects to play this season.

He has spent a lot of time in the WCO and would be a small enough investment to be a backup or cut.

But No Way it happens. The media nonsense and fishing for controversy due to a role player will prevent a real look at Owens. Maybe if another WR gets hurt.

Dont need Owens in our locker room. Are guys are with each other and for each other, Owens(past Owens) will completely ruin the chemistry.

PLUS, don't need him to act as a model for Crabtree.

Alex don't need Owens mouth near his ear... or maybe VD will check Owens down?

any hoot, no way. he's not a burner and not a real upgrade to invest, he probably couldn't crack the starting roles if everyone is healthy IMO

I say yes you sign him, look how Dashawn Golston, Brooks, Rogers and Smith are wll playing well with one year contracts, they have something to prove. Sign TO to a 1 year deal and let him help us in certain packages. We would be scary on offense even more.

Don't forget about Braylon's comments about not wanting to wear 81 and being associated with TO's attitude here in the preseason.

That'll cause some tension, because if TO didn't already know about it... someone in the media will bring it up just to cause tension on the team.

If Braylon is not able to come back this year, and with Morgan being out for the year, I would bring back Owens.

We need to load up for a playoff run. Seriously. We're gonna need firepower when we have to travel to Green Bay or New Orleans.

With Braylon and now Morgan out I still wouldn't go for Owens. I would rather try and talk Moss into playing again.

Alex Smith is not a vertical thrower, Owens running short routes suit him more.

Anyways it's hard to imagine a 37 year old receiver rehabbing his ACL faster than anyone in the history of the NFL.

I thought I had heard (Glazer perhaps) that he flew to Europe for stem cell injections, following Manning's trail.
