I was a bit surprised to see him projected so high, but with that said he is extremely versatile. While the talent pool is definitely stacked, there aren't a lot of 6'6" guys who can play 4 positions.

I actually feel comfortable when Petteway is bringing the ball up the floor. His decision making on passes is really his only weakness right now. He also needs to grow up. He throws a fit from time to time when things aren't going Nebraska's way.

See I disagree with the statement that he can play 4 positions. Maybe he can I. College, but I doubt his ability to do it in college. He is clearly a SG, and he will be able to play some SF in the NBA, but I don't think that he has the decisions making or handles to legitimately be an option at PG. And I'm sorry but you just don't have SGs guarding 4s in the NBA. It's just not smart from a coaching perspective....at all. To me, he is a more aggressive Courtney lee. That's who I see when I see petteway

See I agee with Chuck. I think Petteway is damn good player but not at NBA level yet. There is so much to learn in the 2 years that he has left. He can get stronger and just the knowledge of playing in college vs pros. I think he would sink fast if he went to the NBA now. If he sticks it out anouther 2 years I think his draft and NBA potental will rise.

Oh the usual. Just hanging out at Mike's mom's house a lot.

No, just trying to get my head right on some issues, taking care of kids, being bored off my ass.

Plus since the season ended there has been nothing to talk about except for crap I get annoyed with and couldn't care less about.

I thought that was you leaving out the back door as I was coming in the front.

As for Petteway, at 6'6" in the NBA he sure as shit isn't playing 4 positions. He could barely play 2 in the NBA. You put him anywhere under the basket in the NBA on an even remotely consistent basis and he would get murdered less than a quarter of the way into the game.

I don't know how into the NBA y'all are, but I know more about the NBA than any other sport. From my perspective (and obviously I'm no NBA scout) it would be shocking to see him go in the first round. I would even be shocked to see him go in the first half of the 2nd round if he came out this year. The talent pool is so insanely stacked this year, not to mention there is a legitimate crop of 5-10 international players that COULD go first round....I just don't see petteway as a first round pick this year. He is mid 2nd rounder at best IMO

Yeah this year's draft is gonna be stupid deep.. factor this is gonna be the summer of free agent with Melo the big 3 and several others. It would be wide to make sure he knows he can get near mid 1st round.

Unless your a sure lock this year would be the best year to skip the upcoming NBA Draft . After this one the next one will be weak plus not many free agent for quick fix outside of Kevin love who is destined for the Lakers

Yes, I was talking about how he can play 4 positions at the College level.....not at the NBA level.

But still, my point was he is versatile. He CAN get down low and outrebound 6'9" posts because his vertical leap is 40 inches.

That's the reason he flies over those big bastards all the time like they're midgets.

If you watched the Creighton game this year then you saw him literally go right up and over Creighton's bigs 3 different times and stuff it right in their face. On one of those dunks they went in slow motion and his eyes were even with the rim.

He's a beast!

Well that's just wrong Jed. Yes he can't play the 4. And yes if you tried to play him in the post his body would break down extremely fast not to mention he wouldn't be good against 4s. But to say that he can "barely play 2 in the NBA" is just flat wrong. 6-6 is just about average for an NBA 2 and at 210 he is probably slightly above average in weight (james harden is 6-5 220 and most consider him to be near chucky and thus "unathletic" despite him Being extremely athletic). He is the absolute perfect sized 2 guard if you ask me

Wait.....wtf.....

Is Jed watching basketball this season?

Since when did he ever even know a Nebraska basketball player's name let alone know their skillset?

Anyways I think Jed meant 2 positions......not "thee 2" position.

I think Petteway will play the 2 spot in the NBA with a little 3 depending on the matchups on the floor.

You gotta put this in terms that HP can understand....

The 1 usually has the smallest cock while the 5 has the biggest, HP
