I really don't ever want to see Swain on the field again. I have been in is corner up until that play. He just showed that he's not a "gamer" and his head wasn't in it. Yes the defender had an arm on him but that's exactly why he needs to hit the burners or dive...it would highlight any grabbing by the defender or at least free him up to make a play on the ball. When a bench warmer comes in like that and shows questionable effort, he's done in my book. I was so pissed on that play. At least guys like crabs and kwill were giving it their all out there when they made their drops. It's the playoffs Swain! Wake up!

I'm looking forward to getting Delanie back and hopefully Ginn can bounce back and help out (did I just say that???). But seriously, Ginn deserves some credit...he's improved a lot this year.

The guy gets thrown into one of the biggest moments in the teams last decade, and comes up a yard short on a ball where there may have been some contact. Also, everyone else on the field for that play had played the entire game- or even entire season. Tough spot to come into.

Not saying it was a good play, but I think people need to give Swain a little more of a chance. Harbaugh did cut Braylon after all... if he thought Swain was total garbage, he might not have.

sunday is usually a time for faith, but when it comes to the nfc championship game faith isn't something anyone should be hanging their hat on.

Yeah he has...way to recognize 44!

The last time we played the Giants, Ginn's speed created a lot of space for Alex to throw into - I hope he can go on Sunday.

His short routes have really impressed me as of late. His route running has gotten a lot crisper and he's obviously been working with the ball machine a lot bc there aren't nearly as many drops.

You sir are a very astute student and most likely a former player of the game because everything you just said is 100% correct. Still room for improvement but if we can expect to get the same level of improvement from him next year as we did this year then not signing him would be a terrible mistake.
