I think that the reason why Niner fans were high on Cam, and I was def one of them, was his value to the team relative to where he was drafted. A 7th rounder that shows steady progression and a knack to get to the ball would be a valuable, cheap, productive pass rushing option. I wasn't upset that they traded him, I was upset that the reports were that we only got a 7th in return.

And like Sick said, Cam wouldn't make the 2012 draft great, but it would have made it better.
