I don't see Johnson making the team unless he wins the kr\pr duties. Its Johnson, Carter, Wright, and S Sims for the kr\pr job. Whoever wins it stays the rest go.

Ok dean let’s break it down for you . If the team keeps 6 wrs chances are the 6th wr is inactive . That leaves 5 wrs and you know 4 can be in wr sets . Now if there is an injury the wr (5) has to be able to contribute to the offense
The PR guy is the issue , you can put a RB to return kicks
Now if carter can’t contribute in the offense like Franklin or Wright he is the man hitting the pavement

so let’s relay this back to humphries , he doesn’t have a guaranteed contract , he has had injury issues so being able to field punts is a plus for him

. And could be decisive in competition from Clifford Franklin with Harmon and cam sims able to take slot snaps as well as Samuel

now humphries might be your flavor of the day but most likely he will have to drop back and field punts

and let’s not forget Franklin is a hell of a lot more explosive then humphries

It means humphries , Franklin will have to return punts unless you go Wright or stroman . Wright is like 9th on the

my wrs are TM , Samuel , brown , most likely humphries . You have cam , Franklin , Harmon. Wright AGG all In there with Cam , Harmon and your boy AGG competing for 5/6 .

so one of 2 things HAS to happen , carter has to be able to contribute on offense , or humphries has return punts .

if Clifford Franklin can regain his form on punts and also be what he was as a rookie and in the playoffs then humphries is the odd man out along with carter

Returner is no longer important with today’s NFL rules. Returners alone do not exist.
