Made me sick when I heard it, of course they are saying it’s likely drugs were involved. He was starting to get a lot of acclaim as one of the best drummers in the world. RIP.

Foo Fighters were on tour and he died in Colombia right?

That sucks, 50 is way too young.

Heartbroken when I heard this last night. One of my favorite bands and really enjoyed his contribution to them. Dude was fun to watch and his dynamic with Dave Grohl was unmatched. He will certainly be missed.

I hope the Foo Fighters (and Dave) can recover from this...but I can also see this being the end to the band.

My wife was friends with his sister growing up
So she was sort of friends of the kid brother.
She is heartbroken. He was the hometown hero. The rock star from Laguna Beach.

Hard to say. He and Dave (and really the whole band) were really tight, but they also have so much going on, including a movie. I'm sure they'll take an appropriate amount of time off and see how they feel then.
