Nice gesture for Denver. Makes sense. He will likely be one of the 7 inactive with Keo active with Bolden out. Doesn't make a lot of sense to sign some other player away from the team to sit inactive.

Part of me wishes he would get the chance to be on the active 46. He is a playmaker that the coaches said have been very impressed with especially over the last 3 weeks. I wouldn't mind seeing him with his speed get a chance to play that safety role (if he has been practicing it at all) and go make a play.

Yeah that`s what I thought. Not your ideal S. My thoughts on him was always ST`s calibur and if he did start anywhere it would have to be cover corner and that`s not looking like a possibility at this point anyway

I would be SHOCKEd if Nixon got PT at DB at this point of the season. Guessing this is a hey you have looked good in practice, be part of our active 53, but part of our inactive 7 on gameday things.

If he plays it will be on special teams.

Last week Keo and Doss were both inactive. I would expect with Bolden out. Keo will be active and Nixon will take his spot inactive. I am looking forward to what Nixon has progressed into as he battled for a spot next year.

Oh yeah for sure. I was thinking down the road if he even is a Bronco next season. He just does not have the size to play at safety in today's NFL.

Yeah add a little bulk to him without losing any speed... He seems to have good range from what I remember in checking him out last year.
