Not saying this won't happen at all...but a lot of the reason Tommy was running for his life all the time was that he doesn't know how to step up into the pocket and stand in there. He'd pull his little ballerina spin move and bail at the slightest pressure. It's hard to pass block if you don't have any idea where the fuck the QB is going.

to me, the shaky o-line thing can all be fixed by having a QB who knows how to get the ball out on time. TA never had the ability to "throw a guy open" and always sat back there and waited until he saw someone wide open or he YOLO bombed it, where as the guys we have now seem to have more of the ability to anticipate where a guy should be open and then throw it there on time.
