The new logo is a bit lame, and I'd prefer them to go back to the slightly darker green / teal / whatever they had before.

Yes, they were. You'll just have to deal with that fact. They are the only team to go undefeated from start to finish in a single season without even coming close to losing a football game. They were that dominant.

At first glance, I don't see a difference. No, I didn't like the old "Bucco Bruce" winking pirate logo. Now, in today's NFL, that may be more acceptable.

Not sure making the logo larger is bad inn THIS case. The skull/crossbones portion of the logo is about the same size as a standard NFL logo, and this is the focal point of the logo, so really you can justify a larger logo in this case by saying the flag and sword is more of a backdrop. I really don't think this larger logo will look all that unusual when you see a few of their games or highlights, it will make sense.

you just making shit up to stir the pot or are you serious? They actually benched their Qb in a game where he said if they didn't they might not have been undefeated that season. They weren't as dominant as you think. they do get the bragging rights of being the only undefeated team, but they wouldn't even rank in the top 10 of best teams ever.
