Yea seriously, it's funny to see Texas lose all these games, but it is really hurting Nebraska right now. But I guess that's what we get for losing to them.

Everyone is kinda ruling out the fact that Boise could still lose though too.

On Tuesday night they showed some vulnerability.........and I'm telling you I have watched Hawaii play several times this year late at night. They are really becoming a decent team on both sides of the ball.

I think Hawaii is one of those teams who doesn't care where they're playing, they're just gonna go to work. Boise may overlook them.

This is the upset I predicted last week and nobody really responded to it. Hawaii has now quietly moved to a 7-2 record and look at their last 4 games........they crushed Fresno State, beat a good Nevada team, killed Utah State by 38 points (something OU couldn't do), and killed Idaho by 35 last night.

If Boise loses a game and Oregon loses a game, this provides another route for Nebraska to still manage to sneak in there.

I know it.......here I was excited to get up this morning and see Nebraska at #9 in the Coaches Poll (that's where I thought we'd be)..........and instead we move up only 2 spots to #10

And we move up 5 spots in the AP poll

Apparently the media watched different games than the coaches this week.

Oh NU's not out of the title game. Unless Boise is #1 in the Coaches/Harris polls I don't think Boise beats out a 1 loss AQ for the second spot.

It'll be an uphill climb where NU's going to need other AQ's losing ahead of them and end up #3 minimum (in the human polls) on Sunday, December 5th.

The computers will take it from there..

IMO

I think we finish fourth in the BCS behind Oregon, TCU, and Alabama. I guess Fiesta Bowl in in our cards against Pittsburgh - which puts us at a final ranking of 2. Oregon beats Bama in BCS championship game and TCU loses their bowl game against Wisconsin.

I would be so excited with that outcome. That would be a great way to leave the conference and join the big ten. Plus beating up on Pitt may be as much fun as anything.
