Flames win (4-1 is the final) - I don't think Calgary registered a shot on goal in the 3rd period.

Good game Dash, I only saw about half of it. It was 3-1 when I got home and the Habs were never close to getting back in it.

If Price is not good, even average usually wont do, the Habs wont win. I dont know why they have gone after offensive players the last few off-season to play Jacque's system - save some money and pay some scrubs to clog up the neutral zone then stand around and watch the opponents shoot at the goalie.

Oh well because of the playoff run a couple years ago I bet he is there until they really have a horrible year.

It still cracks me up when the Habs get a penalty called against them how the fans Boo no matter how flagrant it is. Geez !

No question about their passion but they boo every call against them and want a penalty if one of the Habs trips over the blue line with no one around him.

It still cracks me up how for years you always bitch about the crowd. I have never heard a Buffalo crowd boo a call or non call whether good or bad. Uh-uh no way. Yeah home opener, the Habs fans should have sat on their hands and kept quiet. Geez!

Thanks comeds, the Habs were missing three key guys from their lineup with Markov, Cammy and Spacek injured, that's pretty tough to overcome. Flames skated hard (sat back in the 3rd a little too much though) and were lucky to catch Carey Price on an off night.

Word is that after they finished setting up the hot tub, they left the room for only a couple of minutes, only to come back and find Ron in it with a beer, doing air guitar to the best of Anne Murray..........the bitch!
