Bo is usually mum on injuries but from the way he described it, it sounds like the kid absolutely shredded his knee.

He looked like he was in a ridiculous amount of pain.

That sucks........on any other team than this one stacked with talent at wide receiver, he would already be a stud by this point in the year......

Glad we are loaded at the position and hope he heals up.....

Still pisses me off that illegal block in the back that led to his injury didn't get flagged....

Looked like a multiple ligament tear....

Luckily technology allows for this to be one of the easiest procedures to fix them.....

Just won't be able to do much until next summer unfortunately......and even then you have to deal with the whole mental aspect of it......

I really doubt they will let him do much until next summer on that thing........

Torn ACL and MCL is not good............not good at all. Even just a plain torn ACL in the best case scenario requires 3-4 months of sitting around basically. And depending on how your body handles recovering, it could be a couple months after that at least that the doctor will require you to not exercise.

The good news is he didn't fracture anything. He will make a full recovery and have his chance to come back en sech.

Some people take up to 9 months to recover from ACL tears........a lot of it jest depends on how yourn body is put together.

Reliable grapevine. I'm sure it will come out soon...

An insider eh? We just recently had one of our long time "insiders" outed.

He claimed he worked in the football offices and used to give vague statements about players statuses and because they turned out to be true every once in a while we believed him.

Come to find out, he was just some joe schmo posting out of his moms basement in podunk Iowa.. hundreds of miles away from the stadium..

I'm not implying you don't have any connections to the team. For all I know you really do, but personally I'm pretty weary of insider info... Understandably so. He jerked me around with his bullshit for years. Made a lot of us look/feel like jackasses.

It depends. I know multiple ligament tears take longer and it depends on if they have to reconstruct. Not all tears require reconstruction any more.

My daughter tore her ACL (shredded i the doctors words) the first game of the soccer season last spring. The surgeon went in and used heat to shrink the ligament and when it shrinks it pulls back together.

He told her 8 weeks with the brace on but at the four week check up let her take the brace off when she wasn't putting any weight on it. At 6 weeks he let her play with the brace ($570 Donjoy Armor) on and at 8 without the brace.

With that said she was not 100% until a couple of games into this fall season. I think though that is because she quit exercising it. When she got into strength and conditioning you could see her quickly getting her flexibility and cut speed back.

But for the ACL tear she was playing with a brace on after 6 weeks. If they can repair rather than reconstruct he can be back in weeks.

We still haven't heard anything official though and I am not seeing anything on any other boards (I don't have paid subscriptions though). If it is multiple I'd expect more but even with reconstruction I believe they are down to 10-12 weeks now.
