I think the Big East will get 5 or 6 teams into the NCAA tournament. Creighton will be one of them. Seeded in the middle somewhere.

So we didn’t budge in Lunardi’s bracketology.

The reason explained for this is that Michigan becoming a quadrant 1 Win basically cancels out the quadrant 3 loss to Illinois.

Here is where this gets tricky. Michigan plays Penn State Wednesday. We probably should pull for Michigan to keep that good win, but we also want Penn State coming into Lincoln looking good.

I didn’t want to have to resort to hoping for luck, but basically we need Michigan to win out, we obviously need to win our last 2, and then we need to beat Michigan a second time to pick up another quad 1 Win.

It seriously isn’t even as easy as just winning games, we have to hope it sets up for us so that we can win the right game or games in the Big 10 tournament.

Otherwise we just simply need to win the whole fuckin thing.

I thought about that a little more and actually I will say I’m all for it if one of the following 3 also decides to leave the team: Palmer, Copeland, or Roby.

If we lose one of those guys, then in my opinion nothing has changed. If he keeps all 3 of them then I believe it means they’re on board and they believe next year is a special kinda year.

The main knock I have on Miles is his inability to roll over players from prior seasons. I need to see that change now.

He's not going anywhere. The team showed a lot of improvement over last year and proved doubters wrong on their projected B1G finish.

But I agree, he needs to show that he can keep players around long enough to make an impact on the program, not just on a team.

Jerry Palm stands by his original comments....says Nebraska must win the tournament no matter what to make it.

I think that might be a bit bold. I think if Nebraska beat Michigan on friday and say Michigan State on Saturday it wouldn’t matter if they won the Big 10 Tournament at the point. Obviously I’m saying if we beat Indiana and Penn State this week.
