I almost wonder if Eichorst going out saved Miles.

Eichorst gave him the ultimatum. New AD may come in and be so focused on the state of the football program that he feels fine with the state of basketball program.

Imagine coming in as a new AD and firing both the Football and Basketball coaches immediately.

Don't think we have to worry about Miles and staff being involved with this latest NCAA scandal and the FBI. Willing to bet no recruit every got talked into coming here. Even a bribe wouldn't get them to come here.

Nebrasketball picked to finish 13th by B1G media this year, ahead of only Rutgers.

Nebrasketball and Penn State finished tied for 13th last year with a 6-12 conference record. I gotta think this team is better than 6 wins this year. If Miles only gets 6 wins then let the Moos loose on his ass.

Doesn't look good. They'd have to be terribly wrong. Even if they're wrong by 6 spots then Nebrasketball likely doesn't make the dance at 8th. The Big 10 gets 7 slots max on a good year. Occasional 8 teams in, but # 8 needs to be a name brand with at least 20 wins and weak bubble competition.
