Barry's block was the play that gave them a chance. Dude should have dunked it. But Gators led down the stretch until the buzzer shot to sent it into OT.

This pisses me off. These athletes are kids, and stupid fucks like you seem to believe you can rag on them and talk shit about them for playing a game, growing up and having some fun. They don't get paid, they're not going to make money on basketball, but they lay it on the line and work their asses off. I don't know man. Florida can really only get off a 3 either way. By making it you let them get a running start at the hoop abd make the play a lot tougher to defend. I was hoping he'd miss it because I knew it was game over if he had. Sorry man.

Your logic completely ignores the (very real possibility) of a foul. A two point possession, either from a shot within the arc (because we wouldn't be able to defend aggressively) or a foul was not at all insignificant. It was probably more likely than a three.

Also, Koenig would have still been on the floor, so you can subtract a defender.

apparently you haven't watched him play most of the season then because he's made that a
shot quite a few times this season just not with .04 left in overtime of the sweet 16..

Eh I just don't see that happening. You almost never see a foul called 80 feet from the basket with 3 seconds left. I know this sucks. Even in a game with terrible reffing ( which I honestly don't think this game was ) you never see a game changing call made 80-85 feet away

I started that thread because several of you Gopher fans were running your traps about the seed you got and you felt it was fair when comparing it to UW. It was nonsense.

I'm moving on now...please do remember they are kids...they don't get paid and don't really need the criticism for having fun...especially after something like he just pulled off...it's not like he went to the Gator's bench and started mouthing off or something...he did it to Rodgers...so it wasn't meant as some disrespectful gesture...it was between them.

This is what scares me about kentucky they are more talented, More athletic, can hang inside with our Bigs, better free throw shooting team then us. For us to win we need to play A+ game and kentucky B game. I ready for challenge.

Going to be a good one. I don't think UK has anyone that can guard Jackson but NC will have trouble with Fox. Gotta believe Pinson will help NCs defense. UK put a lot into that game tonight. Should be a great matchup. UNC opens as a 2.5 favorite

Minnesota had a better resume. Not really arguable. I even said Wisconsin was the better team entering the tournament. And i said UW was underseeded. Not sure what made you get your panties in a bunch. If you get bent out of shape over that you need to chill.
