Marquette would probably beat us 7 out of ten times tonight.
lol let's not go that far
I was just having fun with the fact this shit Xavier team has somehow rattled off 3 in a row

Thanks Jontae. Love your optimisum. You can obviously take a loss better than I can.Shit happens in the tourney dude.
You guys will probably be preseason #1 next year.
Miller enjoys making McDonald's all Americans ride the bench instead of embracing their talent.
I'm not exaggerating. We play down to our competition constantly. Even our first round 20 point win felt more like a 5 point game the whole time.lol let's not go that far

Perfect?Yep they will not have a better chance than this. This has gone perfectly for them especially considering Duke/Nova were eliminated as well. I expect them to play be in the National Championship Game on April 3rd.
I was hoping Arizona would win so Gonzaga could prove that their win over the Wildcats in the regular season wasn't "tainted" but I also love that so many of the talking heads had Gonzaga bowing out at the EE to Arizona and here Gonzaga made it and Arizona didn't. Gonzaga vs Xavier should be a fun game. I hope the Bulldogs offense starts playing like its capable of.
I know another coach that does that.
Tougher road. Getting out of the south region or the other side of the bracket getting to the ship
They're on opposite sides of the same bracket so all that means is that people picked AZ over GU in the EE (where they would have to meet to play). Sounds like you took people picking a #2 seed over a #1 seed personally.
Good luck to GU though, hope you bring a FF back to the West.

Maybe a little bit, but it just gets old listening to the same thing over and over. Yes I know Gonzaga plays in a shit conference. Yes I know Gonzaga doesn't play anyone. Yes I know Gonzaga has never made it to the final four etc.
For what it's worth I have nothing but respect for Arizona. I love that they'll play Gonzaga just about every year and they're usually really good games. I was rooting for the Arizona/Gonzaga matchup.
Me too. I wanted that best in the west matchup for sure.
And I'm stoked that AZ and GU signed up for another couple meetings coming up, and will also be together in a pre-conference tourney. I think it's great that AZ and GU face off, I think it makes both teams better and strengthens the west.
And the only reason why people talk about all those things above is because they're true. I don't think it means they can't do it, just that those things being true means that there is very little to go on to predict them to overcome all of it going in. It's hard for me to take an honest look at GU as a FF team when they don't play FF teams after December, even if I want them to do well for the west.
And I'm saying that with the upmost respect for Few and his program. He's proving to be a good enough coach to be able to get better without depending on strong competition to improve on his team's weaknesses. And that's really tough to do. If he gets to the FF this year he'll certainly establish the history to prove he can do it, and he'll have a blueprint to copy for the years to come.
He's facing his weakness of a lack of competition to (hopefully) get over the hump. Miller's weakness is beating a zone and he's not facing that. Few has everything going for him but he is honest with what he needs to do to get over the hump. Miller has everything going for him but won't face his weakness.
I'm not trying to start an argument, but couldn't you say the same thing then about Miller and Arizona? I think it's absurd to suggest Miller and Arizona won't make a FF simply because they have never been there and therefore you should never predict them to be make it there. Zona is going to be loaded next season, which is why I bring this point up.
Who are predicting is Staying/Going to the NBA?
