I just read an article that said the Bengals were one of the teams making a major push for Kamerion Wimbley, the pass rushing LB who just signed a whopping $35 million deal with the Titans. If the Bengals were willing to make that kind of offer to a 2nd tier player it shows that they view their pass rush as a weakness and are serious about improving it. With the Bengals recent Free Agency signings (CB, OG, RB and S) it appears that they may be setting the table to select a pass rusher with one of their 1st Round picks. Could we see one of these players in stripes next season?

Cincinnati made a "significant offer" to pass-rusher Kamerion Wimbley before he signed a five-year, $35 million deal with the Titans, a couple of sources told the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Bengals were one of five teams who expressed interest in signing him along with the Patriots, Seahawks and Packers. Wimbley would have replaced Lawson as the team's strongside linebacker.
