Thought about it a bunch before responding...and if A&M wanted to schedule Nebraska on that day, I'm all for it.

It would help our recruiting down there.

Just move a B1G game into early season, schedule two noncon home game gimmes. A&M permanently takes the place of the good noncon game.

Don't know what happens if b1g gets sta sta stupid and goes to 9 conference games tho.

Eh thats not really fair. Iowa has finished in the top 8 of the BCS in 4 of the last 10 years, they have a traditional basketball program ( top 10 all time according to ESPN) and yes the greatest wrestling program of all time. Hell even Iowa golf and tennis are really solid. Iowa is certainly not a GREAT athletic program but they are light years ahead of some of the other teams in the B10.

Iowa only committed to playing on Fridays in 2011 and 2012.

Not a doubt in my mind Penn St will be all over this opportunity.

IF the B1G would let the 2 schools play the last game of the season instead of forcing Wisky on us to end every year. I know most PSU fans would absolutely love to play the Huskers for our season ending game, not sure how keen they'd be on Friday after Thanksgiving, but I'd find it interesting and better than someone less appealing on a Saturday. Tired of B1G trying to force rivalry games on us. First it was MSU, now we seem to play Wisky to end our year, I think Nebraska makes much more sense. While we haven't played every year, there is some history with some high stakes games and its 2 of the most historic programs in the NCAA. Also always enjoy when the Huskers visit Happy Valley, great fans to interact with and I will definitely make that road trip soon, have heard great things.

Apparently both schools have agreed to move the game back to Fridays in 2013/2014. It just needs to be approved by the B1G.

The schedules do not reflect any change yet.
