IMHO, I still prefer Bad Motor Finger and Louder Than Love. I consider it stronger material than SuperUnknown.

They definitely got a lot of radio play with Fell on Black Days and Black Hole Sun. They experimented more with the material on this album. But I saw a video of this concert. At times, it seemed Cornell looked bored.

One my best memories of the 90's Seattle music scene was I was able to get into this small club in Seattle that only fit about 200 people and see them play. They had just finished recording BMF and wanted to try out the songs live before going out on tour. The show was not announced to the public. A friend who worked at a music store had heard this show was going to happen hours before. He was able to pull some strings and got us on the guest list. The place was filled with the whose who of Seattle musicians.

It was prime Soundgarden. They played all these songs nobody had heard yet. It was amazing.

Just a great album in general.

It's definitely one of my fave albums of that genre and from the 90's in general.
