Zowie.
Pricing on the secondary market has gone through the roof.
I had hoped to attend the game but now I am not so sure.
I have watched prices since they came out and it has gone straight up. Cheap seats opened at about $1900 last Monday. 1 week later? $4300 on Stub hub. Those are $800 face value.
I have accommodations there. I bought plane tickets and reserved a rental car 3 weeks ago.
Looks like my plan might have to be that I go to the stadium on game day in the hopes prices will drop as we approach game time.
Tough spot to be in but it is what it is. On the plus side, I dig Phoenix and the weather beats what we have in Seattle this time of year.

I heard the prices are lower than they have been in years. I personally wouldn't pay $12.50 for 50 yard line seats to watch the Patriots play.

$1500 for cheap seats last year. It was much cheaper last year.
As of this minute, $8700 for 2 rafter tickets that are in the corner of the upper bowl.

$4,300 to get away from possibly two feet of snow in NYC...sounds cheap to me

It's crazy. My brother is a senior at UofA, and I was going to get him a ticket, but...Jesus. The cheapest seats are twice what I paid for seats eight rows from the field at last years SB.

If it was Dallas vs NE you would be right, Brady and Pats have lambasted that team, and would be a SB like last year, with AFC winning it. Thank God NFC has a great representative in Seattle and will be the most watched SB ever, guessing 125 million

Crazy Split, when I went in 90,91,and 92 face value was only $150. Why am I making less money than then, while the tickets went up over 5fold?

While this is true, I bought my ticket last year for $1500 6 days from game day.

Here we are 6 days from game day, and tickets are upwards of $4000 STILL.

I'm super glad that I chose to go last year if this is any indication of future Super Bowls.

The most expensive seats ever were Philly/Pats in 2004. That game was AT LEAST 80% Eagle fans. We were chanting, "Home game!". Upper levels were $3250 per ticket. Be thankful.

The highest recorded rate of home refinances were in 2004 in Philly the two weeks before the SB. Its was great... until we lost. Haha!

Also, prices may or may not drop. They went up in the Eagles SB. But when they drop its slightly. If you've been to a SB $3000+ ain't worth it... but if you've never been it is worth it.

I just booked my tickets through NFL On Location this weekend. It was more than I could have paid on Monday/Tuesday last week, but it was less than anything I've seen since about Thursday on the secondary market, for at least slightly better tickets (400 sideline vs. 400 corner/endzone) and whatever else you get with the NFL On Location package.

They were lower. They are going up. Wednesday is the day to look - if you can wait to make the decision.....

That is what I'm thinking.
Same way for the Championship Parade last year. 700K showed up. I was there and froze my ass off. It was a cold windy day, yet quite clear in Seattle.
