former pessimistic homer
0-1 (-105) after last week's teaser went down in flames.
1) Carolina -2.5 (-115) --- Lions looked great on MNF, but their history says they often follow a boom with a bust. Cam's back to start, and Benjamin looks like the real thing at receiver. Carolina still plays rock ribbed defense.
2) Jacksonville +6(-110) --- Washington shouldn't be favored by 6 over anyone.
3) Bengals -5.5(-110) --- Bengals home opener. Remember the Bengals were 8-0 last year both SU and ATS. Falcons coming off the big win over Saints, looking ahead to divisional Thursday nighter vs Tampa Bay. Good situation for Bengals.
4) San Diego +5.5(-110) --- Fading the champs? Way too many points to give a good team at home. Chargers should have won at Arizona, who was the last team to beat the Seahawks at home. Seattle, while awesome at home, is not invincible on the road.
5) Two game six point teaser (-105): Leg one Packers -2.5 to leg two 49ers -1.5.....both teams in home openers just asked to win rather than cover large spreads....
