That's the problem he's always knocking at the door. But the door never opens. He's mediocre at best as a HC. That Buffalo squad is packed with talent. His Jet teams were loaded. As usual his team under achieves. Great D coordinator but not an HC.

Maybe if he concentrated more on his team and less on his bravado he'd have a better record?

Literally no head coach should be fired less that 2 years in with .500 ball, though, especially in a division with the Patriots. Jeff Fisher wishes he had Ryan's track record of late.
