If that unintentional act deserves a suspension than the player that slapped Stafford in the head should miss a couple of games.

And the guy who got away with picking Stafford up and driving him into the turf after he threw the ball, should be out too. That would have been called for Brady, Manning, Bree's, Rodgers, etc. Stafford RARELY gets those calls.

I voted for "why are we stepping on people".

It must be a Cornhusker thing.

My guess is the league will not suspend him. Suh never looks back so they can't say it was really intentional. Also, in real time it looks a lot less severe than when Fox puts the step in slow mo making it seem like Suh was on him for seconds. Both steps were a fraction of a second.

Beardown you do realize had that been Matthews stepping on Stafford in same play, many here would be crying foul.

Sports science said at 300 lbs x the pressure + Rodgers already tender calf = 15,000 lbs of Suhspension worthy weight.

Tough one to call really. Obviously we all know he did it on purpose. But if he had actually done it on accident it would have looked pretty much the same as it did. It wasn't as blatant as his last one or Raiola's. So to actually punish him for it, you're basically saying you know his intent and his inner thoughts. If it was a regular season game I would fine him and no suspension, because we don't know his intent. But to fine him and not suspend him for a playoff game, especially after giving Dom one game when precedent is set as a 2 game suspension already makes him look kinda chicken shit.

But after refs absolutely handing games to Lions opponents twice this season, to have our star player be the first player in Goodell's whole reign as commish to be suspended for a playoff game makes the NFL look as crooked and scripted as the NBA or WWE.
Stop making excuses for that dirty piece of shit....!,......him and that "ravioli" dude should be suspended indefinitely,......thank these two idiots when you're "one-n-done" in the playoffs,.....*and I'm no packer-fan,either*

Good lord -- those saying this was on purpose or blatant need to get a grip. Blatant is what Suh did last time. Blatant is what Raiola did last week.

What Suh did wasn't blatant in the least bit. It wasn't even a stomp. He wasn't even looking at Rodgers, nor did his motion change in the least bit. He was backing up and Rodgers happened to be on the ground and got stepped on.

His reputation is the only reason why this is even being made into an issue, IMO.

So dis anyone at all noticed that at no point at all did Suh look down to see Rodgers under him? He was stepping backwards while looking down the field at the pass, and got bumped by an o-lineman. His eyes and head stayed looking down field the ENTIRE time.

Tell me how he purposely stepped on Rodgers without ever even looking down to line up his step? Is he some kind of fucking zen ninja who just knew exactly where Rodgers was without ever seeing him?

This is ridiculous...

People get stepped on in games, doesn't mean it was on purpose. Even if he did know he stepped on someone, still doesn't mean he intended to.

He didn't even turn around and respond to Rodger's little sissy tantrum shove. He had no idea anything had even happened, pure accident, it's football, shit happens.

The guy has a history opf this kind of crap. Suspend him a year w/o pay. Too many cheap shots in the NFL. Latest poll shows that 51% of parents in the US don't want their kids to play football. Intentional injuries will keep that number climbing and then start to effect viewership. Nip it now or pay later.

FYI -- Parents don't want their kids to play football because of CONCUSSIONS and unknown damage it is doing to someone's brain. So do you think we should make the NFL two hand touch, so the numbers in your poll go down?

The fact that someone would make a comment like this tell me how "pussified" the NFL fans have become. Players are flagged for anything and everything now. Suh was fined 15k and given an unnecessary roughness penalty for PUSHING Jay Cutler down too hard, WHILE HE WAS RUNNING FOR A FIRST DOWN. The penalty called on GB for a "blow to the head" that set up the Lions first touchdown was an absolute joke (which I happily accepted) -- the guy barely touched Stafford's helmet and the flags immediately came flying.

Football is a rough sport. If you don't want to risk injury -- don't play.
