I feel bad for the Devils (fans). Kovy was suppose to get them the cup. Instead they are a team that has lost their identity. They were known for being a tough defensive team. Kovy was suppose to help on the offensive side. Right now (things can change) they have no defense and no offense. Then add the injuries and it is like a curse. Maybe the hockey gods are upset.

I think if they can't turn it around by Christmas (or sooner), this year needs to be written off and pretend it never happened (except if they get a good draft pick). When people talk about the 10-11 season, reply with "That was a strike year".They have Kovy for 9 more years (I know the contract says 14 but really) and Marty for 3-5 maybe.
