I can see it ....
Raven got him in a trade. Basically rented him to win the Superbowl.
At his age and the hits he takes.... up and coming teams aren't going to pay his contract. So he basically had to goto a team that thought they were a step away. San Fran being the obvious.
Ravens couldn't afford him and have had to replace a few pieces. I don't think anyone thought they had a chance at repeating again. Not with their cap and the players they lost.

I'd say a 6th was about all they could get.... that or cut him and get nothing.

Add we wonder why we are losing hair. Too many of our couch GM's ideas have had me for a long time.
