Seven Plays......more than twice as many as usual....YTD 3-3 (-15)

1)Chargers +2.5(-105)......much is being made of west coast teams traveling to the eastern time zone for 1 o'clock games, but simply a case of the better team and quarterback getting points to me.

2)Redskins +5.5(-102)......Eagles have had to come from behind in their first two, have been a poor home fave lately.....like this better now that RGIII is hurt.....

3)Bengals -6.5(-107)......Bengals have covered last ten at home during the regular season.....might as well ride the streak as long as it lasts....

4)Panthers -3(-120).......Panthers strong defense and home advantage, small number to cover.....

5)Bears +3(-119)....Another case of the better team and the better quarterback getting points.....Jets another poor home favorite recently.......

6)Forty Niners -3(-105)......Niners have covered 80% after losing straight up as a favorite under Harbaugh....Palmer out is considered worth a 4 1/2 point adjustment because of the weak backup by the linemakers....

7) Seahawks -4.5(-108).....Won't be a Super Bowl like blowout, but the champs' home field is too much for Peyton and the Broncs to overcome.....

Giants +2.5 -- I'll gladly take my chances betting against Fitzpatrick on the road. Even if it means I need to take NYG.

Packers +1.5 -- This game is a shootout.... Rogers in a dome is hard to pass. Especially when you get points.

Broncos +4.5 -- I like taking Manning when I get points. I'm sure I'll probably live to regret it.

Packers +1.5 -- This game is a shootout.... Rogers in a dome is hard to pass. Especially when you get points.

Broncos +4.5 -- I like taking Manning when I get points. I'm sure I'll probably live to regret it.

You definitely got the best of the Giants' line. They're at -1.5 this morning.

Manning is amazing for sure......got lucky the 'hawks didn't have to settle for a fg on the ot drive.....dead wrong on the niners, but worth it imo to see them lose again....1-1 on the 4pm plays, 6-3 on the day so far with Carolina tonight and da Bears Monday......

I haven't considered them elite for quite some time now. Rodgers is great, his receivers are too, but that oline and defense are very ordinary......

I suppose I don't consider them elite, but I always assume they are MUCH better than they really are.... They have definitely sucked this year.

6-4 Sunday +163 with Chicago +3 tonight.

Adding Jets for a half unit on the moneyline -140. That's 70/50. Chance to win both sides if Jets win by 1 or 2. Win by 3 a push on the Bears and 1/2 unit win overall. If the Jets win and cover I only lose 1/2 unit overall, and if my original bet the Bears win outright I'm still a winner overall. Turned the game into very low risk for possible high reward.
