Just curious what everyone thinks of them.

1) 1-3 is plenty. Use the search function you lazy fucker!
2) 4-5 is ok by me. Scrolling down isn't that complicated.
3) 5+ - I don't care if there's half a page of stickied threads.

that's what got me thinking. I want to know what the regular CFB posters think of it. The posters are the life blood of the board and as such I will respect the wishes of the majority.

The ones I see complaining the most are the mobile users. I don't really care, I have dual monitors, the one I use to browse the SportsHoopla is in portrait mode at 1080 x 1920, it's like reading a newspaper (that's an old form of media for you young 'uns).

You get less of the list on your screen and have to scroll more than on a PC, but it still isn't a big deal. Even on my phone I have no problems ignoring stickies. I can tell you that it is a much bigger hassle to use search on a phone which to me makes stickies still better.

I don't think it matters as long as most of the new hot threads are on the first page.
I my opinion (just a guess) ... Most posters probably follow certain threads anyway, and scan the bold ones for new posts.

It probably won't make that much of a difference until action topics/threads start falling off the front page too quickly.

I went with 5+!! If a thread is good has good enough reason to be stickied, then it shouldn't matter how many are already stickied!!

80% of the time I either use my iPhone or iPad to post here and I have no issues.

The recruiting thread is stupid. 120 + teams. That shit can go to the team boards and you can discuss your programs recruiting there.

I don't care a out the amount of stickies but they should make sense.

I could see the Pick'ems sticky, but the others are stale.

If a thread warrants such attention, then it will get bumped.
If it doesn't, it will die.

Oh, and somebody every week will post a Pick'ems reminder anyway.
So, Zero is the right answer, unless it hurts someones feelings.
