Just when the Knicks start to slowly regain some credibility as an organization, Jim Dolan got bored and asserted himself once more, blowing everything to shit.

Well, Grunwald has only been able to get the Knicks to that frustrating limbo of being able to make the playoffs, but not really contend for the championship. This gets you low picks which are hard to build from and Melo's salary coming up and style of play aren't easy to build with either. He did well, but the Knicks look kind of stuck, like the Hawks.

I didnt like what Grunwald was doing anyway. He made us one of the oldest and slowest teams in the NBA. That being said with Dolan as owner we will never win an NBA Championship he keeps hiring his friends and keeps living in the past. I dont know if he remembers but the Past is not good what does Isiah have on him that keeps him and his friends on the payroll.


He does the same thing with Rangers how long has Sather been GM and how many years ago should he have been fired.

Wonder if this was for personal reasons or Basketball related? Doesn't make sense to keep the guy the whole summer then fire him shortly before the season starts.

If it's for BB reasons, then yes, it is very dumb.
