Not sure what their entire roster looks like as far as who's returning but they do have another top 30 prospect coming in with him.

If Christian Wood returns, they'll have a very talented frontcourt of Zimmerman, Wood, Goodluck Okonoboh, and Dwayne Morgan. Also got 4-star recruit Derrick Jones, that'll be a pretty good team.

I totally agree w/ you. I'm a former Runnin' Rebels season ticket holder although not a fan of DR's. When Kruger left to take the OK job I really wanted UNLV to hire Reggie Theus instead.

We really could have used this kid. I wonder if Bo reached out to him at all. If his Twitter was indication, he seemed to love Bo and our program and he craved playing time. We could have offered him TONS of playing time at 5.

I don't think Wisconsin was ever in the mix for him.

We weren't, but during the Final Four, he picked us to beat Kentucky (which was notable, since KY was considered one of the 3 favorites for him). Then fans asked him about Wisconsin, and he basically said he loved our program and Bo Ryan and wished he heard from us.

We put all our eggs in the Diamond Stone basket, but based on rhetoric, we had a much better chance with Zimmerman. But UNLV will give him the playing time he wants and will allow him to stay close to home. It's a good fit if he is league-ready today. Not so much if he wants to improve.

He wasn't leaving Vegas. AZ was all over him too, he didn't care about any of that stuff… just want to rep his hometown team like Rabb did w/CAL.

Honestly just based off of highlights alone, Zimmerman looks more polished than Rabb. Imo
