So looks like we got a rookie for a Secondary Coach.
TL;DR - Was an intern for the Seahawks and Chiefs in the NFL's Diversity program. He was the Cornerbacks and Assistant Special Teams Coach for the University of South Carolina from 12-15, then became the Co-DC for Old Dominion in 2019 and lastly was the DC for McNeese State. This is his first NFL job.
2012 - South Carolina was #8 in the country, finished 11-2 and won their bowl game.
2013 - South Carolina was #4 in the country, finished 11-2 and won their bowl game.
2014 - South Carolina finished 7-6 and won their bowl game.
2015 - South Carolina finished 3-9 and were not bowl eligible.
2019 - Old Dominion finished 1-11 and allowed 30 PPG
2020 - McNeese State only played 1 game due to COVID-19.
Initially, not too thrilled about this hire. I would love to be excited, but based on the last 3 years of his coaching career, I'm left scratching my head a bit. He previously accepted a job as the University of Houston’s cornerbacks coach on Feb. 8, but decided to make the jump to the NFL.
