I have always hated the Steelers because they have stood on our throats almost as often as the Patsies over the years. But I have no trouble admitting I have the greatest respect for their organization and their fans. They are an elite franchise in all of sports. Bad times come to us all periodically. Sports are a lot like life.

You do yourself no good service by acting this way. It also reflects badly on what I consider a great fan base. Kettle meet pot? Sure, I make fun of teams and their fans from time to time. But at some point in the thread, I also indicate I have my tongue in my cheek.

Seems that there is some good-natured ribbing going on between fans of two teams that are well known for having loyal fan bases.

I only wish that the Browns could have somehow managed to beat the Bengals last week. A Brownie win in that game could have really made a mess of the standings in that division.
