He said he doesn't fire coaches during the season. Bowl game is post season. I would have to guess Riley is gone the morning following the Iowa game, no?

Easy to back out of that statement by saying he meant regular season.

He can also back out of the 'Doesn't fire coaches during the season', by announcing on the Sunday/Monday following Penn St, that the November 24th game against Iowa will be his last. That would be November 19th at the earliest. Riley would still be finishing the regular season. That would be taking the high road. IMO
