Flex Half PPR

Achane vs NE
Robinson Jr vs Cle
Wandale Robinson vs Sea

Start of the week I was leaning Robinson Jr but he's dealing with a knee injury and is a game time decision. I'm a little worried that even if he plays, he might tweak it and be out rest of game or they limit his carries now that Ekeler cleared concussion protocol (McNichols looked good in spots too).

Wandle has been a solid WR, especially in half and PPR leagues. Nothing eye popping, but a nice solid floor. Nabors is out this week so he could see more targets but I guess you could also argue that Nabors was taking so much defensive attention, that was allowing Wandale's numbers.

I guess I'm leaning Achane right now but Miami's players are just dreadful without a real QB right now. I know NE gave up a bunch of yards to Jordan Mason last week, but that was to an actually functioning offense. That Miami/NE game could end up being a low scoring ugly affair and I feel like I might be praying for a goal line TD to salvage a day from Achane.
Sounds like your Decision is Wandale. After reading your concerns. & if Huntley goes into Running QB (not being confident in passing) that would take even more away from Achane who is struggling with no threat of the pass.
I would have gone with Junior but if you think he may not start or finish the game. Sounds like you already have your answer.

I guess it’s what you need from your players. Achane is a great high ceiling vs patriots. He can have a huge game. Realistically.

Wandale is the safest imo.

Wandale is the safest for sure. An argument can be made for Achane but not a strong one

well shit.
Just when you think you have a plan. More info comes out.

Same as last week.
One RB & one flex in a full PPR.

Right now I have Chase Brown in RB & Downs WR in the flex.

Just read Gibson will start over Stevenson against the Dolphins.
So my Bench players right now is
Gibson RB NE
McLaughlin RB Den
are the real possible changes to one of them.
If Flacco plays I am pretty sure I stay with Downs. if not. water got muddier.

Which 2 guys of the 4 would you put at RB & Flex?

Nabers is out.

I need a FLEX option:

Charbonnet vs NYG
Tre Tucker vs DEN

I think Seattle could beat up on the Giants which could be good for Charbonnet. Denver's defense has been so good. I am thinking LV won't move the ball well
Call me crazy, but I'm in on Tucker.

Not a fan of Gibson but if he starts I guess I choose him over Chase Brown. Not many options

IDK... starting a game is only a formality... if Gibson was a rookie or even more than a couple months younger than Stevenson, then I would say Gibson has a chance to take the job away from him... but they are only a few months apart in age, and Stevenson is the much better talent...

seeing what they have in Gibson makes no sense... so I would have to assume it is only a formality until I am told otherwise... like if Stevenson doesn't even play...

It's just a message to Stevenson to get his shit together. I expect Stevenson will play, maybe with his hair on fire (hopefully), but as the backup for this game.

I get that... But sometimes the formality of who is starting is the punishment... not the amount of play time... that's my point... unless Stevenson doesn't play, then I am assuming it is only a formality...

Well so far this year Gibson (think TV said like a yard more per carry & plays with more juice) has been out playing him, but the reason for the demotion is his sudden ability to fumble!

Will I agree with the playing time part and the formality of who is starting is the punishment.

Gibson just has more opportunity. I don’t like either of their RB’s but what Gibson can do is rack up a bunch of catches. Brown can do the same but is the opportunity there now?

well I am trying to figure it out before the games this week. So that doesnt help me at all LOL
Good point and after all that I'd go Downs at flex and Gibson at RB. I want to say McLaughlin instead of Gibson but can't do it. Ravens too tough against the run so no to Brown.

Wandale

Achane needs space to operate and he can’t get it without the threat of a passing game.

I would not go Sermon,
:agree: From NBC:

Shane Steichen said “It’ll be running back by committee” for the Colts’ Week 5 game against the Jaguars.
