I got offered Andrew McCutchen and A.J. Pollock for Giancarlo Stanton in a 16-team, dynasty, H2H categories league. Should I take it?

Sure, I would take it... Stanton has the highest ceiling of the 3 players... But this is a 16 team league, to get 2 startable players for one is pretty significant... especially 2 players that both have first round upside...

Stanton for me.

I've been Pollock's biggest fan in recent years. His value though, lies in a 20-40 ceiling which is highly unlikely to be reached again. He's also very risky as his throwing arm has gone through two major injuries. If you're scared of Stanton's injury history, you can't ignore A.J.'s.

Cutch is no longer the 30-20 guy that made him a star. He's not even 20-20 anymore. The steals have left the building and if he too is passed his recent knee/leg injuries, then all that is left anyway is a ceiling of 25 HR...which that even seems like a reach nowadays.

Stanton's ceiling (in HR) is more than the other two combined. I'd gamble on making up the difference in BA/SB/AVG elsewhere.

may have been to quick for my response... It really depends on league roster sizes, how many OF you start and who you already have at OF...

I'm with you. Actually not the easy call some might think.
