Bruins are a Ference skate away from being up 2-0 in the series.

Could be 2-0 both ways, but it isn't. Let's hope the games in Boston are as good as these were.

Chicago owned the 1st and half of the second. Tuuka was the difference and held them off.

Boston picked up the game 2nd half of 2nd and 3rd and held on to that pressure to the OT.

Did you know that the Bruins haven't lost in regulation since game six against the Maple Leafs? (over a month ago)

Regular season regulation losses:

Bruins 14
Hawks 7

But the Hawks won or sent to XT about 8-10 games coming back in the last 10 minutes of the 3rd

I am figuring a split again. I dont see the Bruins winning both at home. I would of course be thrilled if they did but this is the finals.

I'm seeing this going all 7.

Rask is leading in the playoffs in goals per game allowed average and Crawford is leading in save %.

Actually it's the opposite:

GAA:

Crawford-1.72
Rask-1.73

SAVE %:

Rask-.944
Crawford-.935

Look, overtimes are great and all, but I'm kind of getting tired of setting my DVR to record the game, plus an hour to actually see all of regulation(because for some reason NBC has decided that a hockey game airs in 150 minutes despite the fact that they have a half hour of pregame and no hockey game I've ever seen has finished in 2 hours), PLUS another hour and a half for the inevitable overtimes.

Basically I'm saying that despite the game today being called game 3, they've already played 180 minutes of hockey in this series.

And I'm quite serious about that extra hour for regulation thing. I checked for the last game; had I stopped recording when the guide suggested the recording would have stopped before midway through the third. Da fuuuuuuuck?

Hawks have not won a game 3 this entire post-season. I see no reason to start tonight.

Oh to be a hockey fan in Sunrise, Florida...The offer has already passed, but I thought it was noteworthy.

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that a new $7 Florida Panthers season ticket offer will be unveiled during tonight’s Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks (NBC6, 8 p.m.). The limited offer, available for only 500 season tickets, will include benefits such as a free jersey, free parking, four free concerts at the BB&T Center and more for just $7 a game.

They clearly aren't selling hockey, Boss. They are selling a small cover charge to the shittiest restaurant in town. But I'll be damned if their margins on pretzels and beers aren't astronomical! And they seat more people than any other restaurant in town. ;)

jonasTSN1050: Rask actually has better numbers this postseason (1.73, .944) than Thomas did (1.98, .940) when the Bruins won the Cup in 2011.
