Amazing considering when he struggled in his first year, all the Crosby lovers were so fast to call SS overrated and not in Sid's league. He has more than proved all the praise he got as a junior player was warranted.

I just wanted to know what's wrong with playing for Tampa. It's not my fault the refs give the Pens more powerplays, Obama is ruining our country, and the Canucks are getting rolled up...

If Crosby's injury had sent the Pens into a tailspin (ooheeeoh!) it might have cemented his MVP status. Instead they tightened their belts, opened up a can of defensive whupass, and watched MAF turn into a monster. The Pens would be lost if Crosby fell off the face of the earth, but for a half a season they can manage. Stamkos is dragging his team kicking and screaming into the division lead.
