I really don't know what to think of either QB yet. With better teams it might be easier to figure out.

That is one I would leave to your gut decision. Stafford will put up huge passing numbers but how many times will he connect with Megatron in the endzone? Newton will put up good passing numbers with good running numbers and is also a threat to score on the ground.

The Lions will have another good offense but they will find ways to choke like they always do and they will be facing some good defenses in the NFC North. As a Bears fan I am more worried about Ryan Broyles then I am Reggie Bush. Running backs like Bush dont do too well verse the Bears defense.

Plus Stafford was missing a lot of offensive weapons last year with injuries. I think Ryan Broyles is going to turn into a very good NFL Wr and will be more dangerous because he has Megatron on the other side. I still think their defense, HC and management are what is keeping them back from being a good team ever year.

lol, we don't have to get into his rookie season but he's pretty much even with Stafford(two healthy seasons).

Honestly these guys have the same problem, they are both good but will never go anywhere until team improves the D, and runs more.

Completely agree, but the Lions organization needs to change as a whole for that team to become competitors ever year. Once they find the right head coach who will really work with Stafford and be able to control that team they will get rolling.

Stafford. He should have similar yards, but a higher comp % and rating. Adding in Reggie Bush will give him a bunch of gimme completions. C Johnson may ONLY be good for 1500 though

It depends I believe Stafford has a strong year and he clearly has better options including Reggie Bush. But assuming your league gives four points for a passing TD and six for rushing Cam may be a better choice. I think Cam is disrespected. He's played better than most think.

I have a creeping suspicion that Newton will rebound this season while Stafford deals with FO problems. I think Schwartz's time is over. But it's a toss up! I like Newton's QB/RB style which is great for fantasy, but only when he's at the top of his game. Stafford is the "safer" play.

Stafford because of his receivers, but I think Cam could end up being a good late round pick, for the value.
