Eagles brought the house ALL game.

Game plan was blitz and we couldn't handle it

That game was easily winnable if we didn't give up two TDs by an overpaid LT and STs that didn't bother to show up until the second half.

Philly is not a easy place to play.

And Some of these guys making millions need to sack up

Gotta love the grit of Austin Davis. Guys like Pettis and others need to show up at the critical times and they just don't.

We definitely need that #1 WR that we can feel comfortable going to in times like that. Right now, Quick seems like the best guy we got right now but we need a lot more than that, especially since the rest of the guys we got are more like your backup WR's instead of guys that should be starting.

The game is over and Im still expecting the Rams to rack up 4 more penalties.

The penalties just keep coming

LOL

Bad news: our O-line may not get better. Unless Robinson decides to jump off the bench and rip off his superman t-shirt, we are in trouble at LT.

A good FO would know that Jake Long is older and coming off another injury - so let's not draft a project LT that has never pass blocked.

I just don't get it.

Good news:

Austin Davis has heart. And after they watch video, they SHOULD be able to see it's time for Stedman Bailey to play and make Austin Pettis your #5 WR.

Britt, Quick, and Bailey with doses of Tavon could be strong if we can block and call good plays.

We need more on the O-line and some LBs that can destroy RBs.

I don't know what happened to Pettis

He used to have very reliable hands. Just 2 seasons ago he was Bradford's 3rd down and red zone guy.

Some guys have it in the clutch and some don't.

I learned from this game that Davis is still raw and he will see how much he was on his back foot from video. But he made good throws on those last few drives.

Quick is becoming a beast even though he had a drop too. Britt is fine too.

The Eagles blitzed all game. Granted we could not block even 4 guys, but go back and watch how much HEAT they brought every series on Defense. Problem is the OC didn't really adjust.

Play action?
slant?
screen pass?

Where to start. The fans weren't too bad today. They were in a good mood but were shitting at the end. OLine was just bad. Austin did not play enough. DLine with no pressure. Finding new ways to lose a game. At least the tailgating was fun.:gaah:

:wtf2:
Hey, retro, your Rams weren't lambs today; they came to play and nearly upset the birds. I missed most of the game except for some of the first quarter and the last 4 minutes. Austin Davis seems like a QB that STL could build a good team around - 375 passing yards to Foles' 207. Eagles had a touch of Ebola today.

I hear you jvett. We almost pulled it off but lost the game in the first half. I still like Davis and I think he is going to get even better. His confidence and grit are uncommon as Rams rosters go and it is infectious. I'll take his competitiveness and determination even with the loss any day.

I suppose Sam Bradford is in the mix when he returns but they should stick with the hot hand Davis who's completing almost 70% of his passes in the last 3 games. Looks like the makings of the ole QB controversy.

I don't think so jvett. When Bradford is healthy, he is done because the Rams have already stated that they are not going to offer him a contract extension if he didn't start measuring up to the gobs of money we already threw at this bust. His next location is out the door.

The only way Bradford comes back is on a vets min salary, but then again if I was him I wouldn't resign back in stl
