Turnovers and the O-lay defense. This maybe a new loss record in the playoffs for the Lakers. And now D12 has his second technical and he is gone!

Without Kobe's mental toughness propping everything up, the Lakers have been exposed to the team they are riding the coattails of Kobe.

I haven't caught any of the game, but I just checked the score. Even with Kobe out, a near 20 pt lead for the Spurs? Wow. I am honestly shocked. This keeps up I'll have to check sbnation (or elsewhere) for gifs of Jack Nicholson's dismay.

Not just no Kobe, no Nash, no Metta, no Meeks, no Blake.

And now no Howard....Geez!

All those fans payed to see that ref make a point..

Fire Don'tknowi right now and put Kobe in to coach the rest of the game. Kobe is doing more game-synced adjusting then Don'tknowi has done ALL year,

Sad way to go down. Oh well life goes on and next season will be here before we know it.

I think some folks are being a little too hard on D'Antoni. Remember, 5 games into the season, dude was sitting in the hospital recovering from hip surgery when he suddenly finds himself as coach of the Lakers.

Then, the first thing that happens is he loses Nash who was being counted on to shorten the learning curve on his offense. Then for the rest of the season it was injury upon injury. He's never had a chance to actually coach the players that he was supposed to have.

A coach can only make so many adjustments, in the end, if you don't have the talent available, you're not going to win.

Don't get me wrong, if Phil says he wants to coach, that's a no-brainer.....bye-bye D'Antoni. If he doesn't, remember....firing the coach is the easy part, finding somebody better, isn't so easy!!

Reggie was asked if D12 is a "max" player and Reggie's response was no. This was after d12 was yelling in the direction of Mitch standing in the galley way at Staples Center. Reggie further qualified his definition of a max player is one you can go to when the game is on the line consistently and in Reggie Miller's opinion, D12 is not that guy and then he further explained that this may be a result of the wrong system but overall, Reggie did not change his opinion. We shall see if D12 walks or not.
