I hope at some point Ruby can be converted to a set up man in the bullpen. Throwing 99 mph out of the bullpen would be nice.

I can see it happening mid-season if Rubby puts up 5+ ERA & continues to struggle mightily with LH bats. Also if Collmenter continues to be awful, combined with mediocre RDLR pitching & one of Bradley, Godley, or Wagner pitching lights out in Reno, I could see the switch happening earlier.

Same here. I will always pay to see a team that is competitive and/or has made a real effort to be so. The D-Backs haven't fit that bill in a while, but they do this year. I will be back in the stands.

It sounds like Collmenter is going to start the season on the DL. I wonder if that opens the door to keep both Barrett & Bracho? Or will they bring in Wagner or some other starter, long reliever type to go with one of those guys?

You guys are crazy. I don't know how you can do that many BB leagues. I am OCD about my football leagues, so much so that it was 10x's worse when I did BB leagues. So I just stopped doing them about 7 years ago.

That's terrible. Ugh. Injuries are the only thing that can derail this team. They have the talent this year.

It's harder with the leagues where you can edit your lineup everyday. I tend to perform the worst in that one because I just can't keep up. WIth the once a weekers, it's far more manageable.

I think it will be Weeks over Drury only because Drury as options left and can be brought up if needed.

With AJ Pollock out for most likely a long time, it gives Socrates Brito a shot at CF. Love that name.

Dbacks appear to have a lot of depth in the minors.

Yeah it's his right elbow and he could be done for the season.

AJ is likely done for the season. Similar injury in spring 2010 had him out for the season.
